Stop right now: A Victoria Beckham docuseries is in the works.
That's right, Netflix announced Aug. 21 that they're in production on a project with the Spice Girls star.
"The series will follow her reinvention as a Creative Director of her own brand," the streaming platform wrote on X, "offering exclusive access to Victoria, her fashion and beauty business, and her never-before-seen archives."
Victoria's venture comes nearly a year after husband David Beckham launched his own docuseries, Beckham, with Netflix. In fact, the project—which featured the soccer star's journey from the sports world to parenthood—not only sparked several viral moments, it also received five nominations for the upcoming 2024 Emmys.
"Incredible," David, who shares kids Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper Seven, 12, with Victoria, wrote on Facebook July 18. "Making this series was such a personal journey, a love letter to football and my family."
"I’m so grateful to the incredible team led by Fisher Stevens," he continued, "and to all those people from my life and career who took part in the series and have played such an important role in my story… Thank You."
It was a chapter he couldn't get through without Victoria by his side.
"She's obviously very supportive, like she's always been throughout our whole marriage and time together," David, who tied the knot with Victoria in 1999, told E! News in October 2023. "But she knew that this is my thing—but obviously, it's our thing because it's about our family as well, and our lives together."
As for how Victoria felt about the docuseries?
“It was quite liberating,” she told the Financial Times in January. “This was very much about David, and so I took the approach of, I’m just going to be very easy going here.”
And the end result was very well-received by fans.
As Victoria noted, "People come up and they’re like, ‘We love the documentary.'"
While we wait for Victoria's docuseries, keep reading to find out when more highly anticipated shows premiere.
